Baked Feta With Prunes
If you need last minute appetizer that is going to impress your guests, this baked feta with prunes is probably the best choice. Perfect combination of sweet prunes and savoury feta, only few ingredients needed and can be done in less than 40 minutes - it couldn’t be more simple!
Ingredients:
7oz / 200g feta cheese
1/2 cup prunes (cut in half)
1/2 cup grapes
1/2 cup pistachios (roughly chopped)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp oregano
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Place feta block in the middle of a small baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp oregano. Scatter chopped prunes, grapes and pistachios on and around the feta. Drizzle 1 tbsp honey over the cheese.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
Once done, drizzle 1 more tbsp of honey over baked feta.
Serve warm with crostini or crackers.
